ZIP’s innovative approach to reverse osmosis is recognized by US and international patents.
STAGE 1 – Five Micron Sediment Filter
Unique gradient pore structure, with outer section trapping larger particles and inner section for smaller particles. It effectively removes dirt, rust and etc.
STAGE 2 – Activated Carbon Block Filter
Removes harmful chemical residues and carcinogens such as THM’s and pesticides. Large adsorption capability can effectively remove odors and VOC’s.
STAGE 3 – Reverse Osmosis Membrane
75 Gallon Per Day Reverse Osmosis Membrane purifies water virtually from all the contaminants on the periodic table of elements. It’s the heart of the reverse osmosis system.
STAGE 4 – Exclusive Alkaline Post Filter
Polishing Carbon Alkaline Post Filter adds beneficial minerals – Calcium and Magnesium to purified water for the best taste. It also increases alkalinity of the water to a healthy level of 7-8 pH.

How often does reverse osmosis membrane need to be changed and how much does it cost?
Every 2-4 years. ZIP Reverse Osmosis Membrane costs $59.95. You will know right away if membrane has failed, because ZIP will not function as usual. Example: The upper tank will not fill all the way to the top and filtering process takes longer than 20 minutes.
How do I order replacement filters?
If you sign up for our filter autoship program during checkout, the replacement filters will be delivered to you every 12 months automatically. Otherwise replacement filters can be ordered on our website or over the phone.
Does ZIP use proprietary filters available only from puricomusa.com?
Yes, because we wanted to make filter changes as easy as possible. We had to design our own filters.
